The founding partner of GraphicVision was Wittreich & Associates
Inc., started in 1993, providing subcontract training and consulting
services to Autodesk and Generation 5 Technology. Over the next six
years, Wittreich & Associates focused on graphic information system
consulting services for clients such as Boeing, Harvard University,
Lucent Technologies, Princeton University, Hewlett Packard, University
of Colorado, and Denver Public Schools, to name a few. Technological
emphasis at that time was on Autocad-based GIS products ADE, AutoCAD
Map, MapGuide and ARCHIBUS/FM.
GraphicVision LLC was formed in 1999 as the organizational foundation
for a multifaceted technology services company. Shortly afterwards, in
early 2000, GraphicVision merged with CADvisor.com, a company that began
in 1985 as LANDCADD, Inc. LANDCADD is an application software designed
to work with AutoCAD for landscape architects and site planners.
LANDCADD quickly became the de-facto industry standard in more than 25
countries around the world and won numerous industry awards including
AutoCAD Software of the Year, and Colorado Small Business of the Year.
In 1995, the LANDCADD program, was sold to Eagle Point Software.
LANDCADD, Inc. filed for a DBA as CADvisor and began developing
customized CAD applications, multimedia CD-ROMS, and web sites for
manufacturers.
GraphicVision began development of the ScheduleFM application in 1998,
as part of a large implementation project for Denver Public Schools (DPS).
That project encompassed the cataloging of more than 12 million square
feet of buildings, and more than 1000 acres of sites. Facility rental
for nonacademic community use occupying this space was the driving force
behind the development of ScheduleFM. Dynamic graphics linking floor and
site plans to the scheduling data made this new system quite unique.
Initially developed as a Visual Basic application, ScheduleFM has
evolved to be completely web browser-based, and is now in use at more
than a three hundred sites.
Bringing graphics and data together is what GraphicVision does best. Its
client list over the years is diversified in their application of this
technology, but they share the common goal of creating intelligent
drawings. Combining graphics with data expands the accessibility and
scope of that data. The possibilities are unlimited, with the cost and
ease of implementation getting more user friendly by the day.
GraphicVision's intense focus on graphic information systems has made it
a leader in the industry, with ScheduleFM being the culmination of years
of software development and implementation experience. |
